
Music is a gift that lasts a lifetime. The study of music is essential to cultivating a greater understanding of the world around us.
A passionate instructor of piano and voice in the greater Washington, DC area, Ms. Wanner holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Peabody Conservatory of Music, and a Masters of Music degree from the University of Maryland Opera Studio.
Active and current in the field, Ms. Wanner has performed across the country as a soloist in venues such as The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Washington, DC), Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Theater (New York City), and the National Hispanic Cultural Center (Albuquerque, New Mexico).
As a vocal instructor and accompanist, Ms. Wanner has taught at the collegiate level, and enjoys working with students ages 7 and older at all experience levels. From those who are new to music study to those who would like to improve their skills for community or church ensembles, lessons are tailored to meet the needs of each student exactly where they are.
Ms. Wanner promotes artistic and personal growth, basic music fundamentals such as sight-singing and ear-training, a solid technical foundation, and most importantly, joy!
